Community Show

For our 2026 Community Show, we invite local talents to fill the stage with their love for performing!

Shine a Light will be a community showcase, featuring solo and group acts from local performers. It will have two performances on Saturday, August 22nd. There will be a mandatory dress rehearsal on the evening of Friday, August 21st.

Do you have a group you’d like to perform with? We’d love to hear from you! Submissions from choirs, dance teams, bands, sketch troupes, and more, are encouraged to submit for a spot in the showcase.

Solo performers are also encouraged to submit acts in all art forms!

Don’t have an act of your own? Join ours! The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival will be organizing a couple of big showstopping numbers and everyone is welcome to take part! There will be featured solos and ensemble spots available. Everyone who wants will get a moment to shine!

Submissions close Friday, May 22nd. After this deadline, we will reach out to everyone to confirm participation and share more details.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a performance spot for each submission. Anyone whose act is not given a spot is encouraged to join us in our group numbers!
